Dali Dimension is a fascinating documentary that explains the relationship between the art world of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) and the scientific thought of his time. Especially, the weight of nuclear physics in his work, and psychoanalysis that both influenced the surrealists, although in this case it is a pseudoscience.
The documentary features numerous testimonies of scientists, many of my professors at the University of Barcelona in the eighties, who came to organize a scientific conference in Teatre-Museu Dalí in Figueres with and recovering.
Here hang the first part of the documentary. Do not miss this "one new kind of atomic and nuclear mysticism" (a new class of atomic and nuclear mysticism), which appears in the fourth installment and this visionary said in an interview when many of the artists of his time giving back to scientific advances. After all, these statements were contemporaneous with the problem of two cultures in England and prior to the penaamiento sociological critique of science.
