brain's perception of beauty
Paintings, sculptures and landscapes are often taken and beautiful. The sense of beauty is absolutely subjective, but thanks to neuroimaging techniques are beginning to glimpse the brain mechanisms by which it acquires the sensation. The conference will present the experiments in the Laboratory of Human Systematics-unit associated with the Interdisciplinary Institute of Physics and Complex Systems of the CSIC and the Universitat de les Illes Balears, have identified certain patterns of brain response to beauty in women and men .
