During the spring and summer of 2011, the museum offers a temporary exhibition with a different content.

Some of the most beautiful collection National Museum of Anthropology belong to the so-called feather art, ornaments and headdresses from America and Africa, made with feathers of various birds and the participants dress in initiation ceremonies, thanksgiving, etc.

However, these objects are, while beautiful, extremely fragile, so that their storage conditions and exposure should be carefully planned.

This exhibition shows the public the important work of conservators and restorers at the time to preserve these magnificent pieces, a job little known but fascinating. Therefore, in the panels try to explain who is the conservator-restorer, which tasks performed at the Museum and what is the scientific process that develops in the laboratory, since the detection of alterations to the pieces until they are processed.
